Our Mission & Impact

The Cystitis & Overactive Bladder (COB) Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to helping the millions of people in the UK who live with bladder conditions. Since our founding, we have provided free telephone advice, published educational materials, and connected patients with peer support networks.

Bladder conditions are often under-discussed and misunderstood, leaving many people feeling isolated. Our work bridges that gap by offering reliable, accessible health information alongside practical services like the Can't Wait Card, our lending library, and the Phone-Pal scheme, which pairs callers with trained volunteers who understand what they are going through.

Your donations and membership fees fund every part of this work. They keep our telephone advice line open, allow us to print and distribute handbooks to hospitals and GP surgeries, and support the ongoing maintenance of this website where thousands of visitors each month find answers to their health questions.
